It's always startling to have an illustration you've done at, say 22 inches high, enlarged to 22 feet high. The high school leased several local billboards with this image.
The Poster.

The excitement is building! The poster looks fantastic...I can't wait to see pics from the opening night performance. Lucky, talented girl with a lucky, talented dad!

nice! love the old fashioned streetlight - the kind a drunk hobo might hang on to!

Love the warms and cools of the light and shade. That's some high school that promotes its plays town-wide and on billboards. An artist could get a serious local reputation. You must be on everyone's list as a must-invite to Sunday dinner. :)

Wow! Love that billboard! Stop and take a picture of that one.

It's a good thing they don't have to paint billboards by hand the way they used to or that's another task you would have had to add to your list. And you would have done it with a smile and enthusiastically. Somehow you would have fit it in. It looks terrific, Dave. The big night is getting closer!

Nice illustration! Fine color choices too. The photo is interesting. The board comes forth with such visual warmness, right? The illustration with the lively pose contrasted against the chilly, snowy background..... A nice touch to the post!

This looks great, but are you blogging in your sleep? I didn't think we'd hear from you until after the opening. Don't burn yourself out, we need you..!

Aren't you glad you didn't have to paint the billboards like the backdrops? Looks really nice David and good luck to Anna too.
